M13 - NGC 6205 - Great Globular Cluster In Hercules

Messier 13 (M13) is a Globular Cluster made up of approximately 300,000 stars. It is located in the constellation of Hercules. M13 is located about 25,000 light years from earth and is approximately 145 light years in diameter. It was discovered by Edmund Halley in 1714.
